yournews O 2012 priest assignments n May 23, Bishop Slattery announced the following priest assignments, effective on July 1 unless otherwise noted. • Father Richard Bradley, pastor of St. Henry Parish in Owasso, will become pastor of St. Catherine Parish in Tulsa and St. Joseph Par-ish in Bristow. • Father Matthew La Chance, pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Cushing, St. Mary Parish in Drumright and St. John Parish in Pawnee, will become pastor of St. Henry Parish in Owasso. • Father Michael Cashen, pastor of St. Cath-erine Parish in Tulsa, will become pastor of Holy Ghost Parish in Vinita and St. Ann Par-ish in Welch. • Father Alex Kennedy, pas-tor of St. Elizabeth Parish in Grove and Holy Ghost Parish in Vinita, will be-come pastor of only St. Elizabeth Parish in Grove. • Father Carl Kerkemeyer, pastor of Sacred Heart Par-ish in Miami and St. Ann Parish in Welch, will become pastor of only Sacred Heart Par-ish in Miami. • Father Emmanuel Nduka, associate pastor of St. John the Evangelist Parish in Stillwater, will become pastor of Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Cushing, St. Mary Parish in Drum-right and St. John Parish in Pawnee. • Father Ernesto Calvillo, associate pastor of Res-urrection Parish in Tulsa, will become associate pastor of St. Mary Parish in Tulsa. Photo by Cathy Nelson • Father Van Nguyen, asso-ciate pastor of Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa, will become associate pastor of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish in Tulsa. • Father Michael Pratt, re-turning from his studies in Rome, has been appointed associate pastor of Christ the King Parish in Tulsa and chaplain of Bish-op Kelley High School. • Father Kerry Wakulich, chaplain of Bishop Kelley High School and chaplain of St. Philip Neri Newman Center at the University of Tulsa, will be rescheduled to one day per week at Bishop Kelley and the rest of the week at the Newman Center. • Deacon Sean Donovan, af-ter his ordination to priest-hood on June 30, was ap-pointed associate pastor of St. Thomas More in Tulsa. • Deacon John Grant, after his ordination to priesthood on June 30, was appointed asso-ciate pastor of Holy Family Cathedral.
